Chambers Honors Mélanie Thill-Tayara for her Exceptional Contribution to Antitrust Law

Mélanie Thill-Tayara, Dechert's Paris-based antitrust partner and co-lead of the firm's life sciences practice, has been honored by Chambers with an "Outstanding Contribution" award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the antitrust/competition legal arena. This special award is given to lawyers who have had a significant and lasting impact on their market, and who are exceptional lawyers in their own areas of practice.

Ms. Thill-Tayara, who was named "Litigator of the Year" by Global Competition Review in 2023, is well known for her litigation expertise, having handled several landmark cases involving complex antitrust issues in cartels, information exchanges, and abuse of dominance across various sectors such as tech, consumer goods, financial services, life sciences and public works.

In the past year, she earned a spot among the FT's Top 10 Most Innovative Legal Practitioners in Europe. Hailed as a leading competition lawyer in France by GCR, The Legal 500 and Chambers 2024, Ms. Thill-Tayara was also recognized as a leading lawyer in Who's Who Legal's 2022 competition and life sciences guides in France and by Best LawyersFrance 2024 in biotechnology and life sciences, as well as competition/antitrust law.

Ms. Thill-Tayara was recognized personally with the "Outstanding Contribution" award as a guest of honor at the Chambers Europe Awards 2024, which were held in Paris on April 25.
