Local Government Week – Parks and Recreation

Warminster Township Parks and Recreation oversees and maintains approximately 420 acres of active and passive recreation areas in 13 parks.

Parks and Rec is currently working on several park improvements, including field lighting and electrical upgrades at Werner Park, replacing a 20-year-old playground at Warminster Community Park (anticipated completion - late May 2024), the establishment of meadow areas, and concept planning for Shenandoah Woods development. In addition to Park maintenance and upgrades, the department oversees numerous athletic facilities and fields.
