Sarbanes Statement on Yom HaShoah

"On this sacred and somber day of remembrance, we honor and mourn the lives of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and recommit ourselves to fighting antisemitism in America and across the world. Especially in the aftermath of the brutal terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7th and the alarming rise in antisemitism in our schools, communities and online, we must not forget the moral imperative, 'Never again.' These Days of Remembrance serve as a call for solidarity to act against antisemitism and all forms of hate-fueled violence while honoring the strength and resilience of the Jewish people."
