SWOSU's Doctor of Pharmacy program provides a dynamic educational environment for students to develop the personal, professional, and intellectual skills needed to advance the profession of pharmacy.
The SWOSU College of Pharmacy will be hosting a Pharmacy Day for high school students on Friday, March 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This program will consist of hands-on, interactive lab activities conducted by faculty and students at the College of Pharmacy as well as prizes, giveaways, and lunch provided at the SWOSU Memorial Student Center.
Established in 1939, the College of Pharmacy at SWOSU has positioned itself as one of the best educational values for pharmacy in the nation. Given the nationwide shortage of both pharmacists and pharmacy students, this is a great time to consider the profession. The goal is to educate high school students about the pharmacy program at SWOSU and the many exciting opportunities currently available to graduates with a pharmacy degree.
To ensure participation from multiple schools, each high school may bring up to five students along with a school official (teacher, counselor, or administrator). Space is limited to 75 students, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register for SWOSU Pharmacy Day, school officials should contact Dr. Erin Callen at [email protected].
