The second session of the 50th National Assembly has begun. At the beginning of the first plenary session, the anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria and the anthem of the European Union were played. Representatives of the parliamentary groups delivered speeches on the occasion of the start of the new political season.

The National Assembly adopted at second reading the amendments to the Independent Financial Audit Act.

The Parliament heard the interim ministers of the Environment and Water Petar Dimitrov, of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahov and of Regional Development and Public Works Violeta Koritarova, as well as the interim deputy minister of Energy Georgi Samandov on the growing water crisis in the country.
