The Bayfield County Department of Human Services is seeking a Bayfield County resident from the Cable area to serve on the Human Services Board. The Human Services Board provides policy oversight. The Department is seeking an interested community member who can advocate on behalf of Bayfield County residents who receive or need resources and services provided by the Department. The Human Services Board meets approximately ten times per year in Washburn at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the County Courthouse Annex. Meetings are generally held the fourth Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. There are In-person and virtual options to attend. A meeting stipend and mileage reimbursement are available.
