Steel Blooms Traded on IME's Export Ring

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the IME's export ring witnessed trade of 135,000 tonnes of steel blooms, 42,352 tonnes of bitumen and 24 tonnes of acetic acid.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, there were 50,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 8,550 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 7,000 tonnes of iron ore pellets, 5,250 tonnes of CRC, 5,000 tonnes of steel slabs, 2,730 tonnes of copper rods, 925 tonnes of angle bars, 500 tonnes of tinplate sheets, 300 tonnes of U-channels, 275 tonnes of aluminum billets and 110 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots traded on its metals and minerals trading floor.

IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor was the next which saw trade of 62,358 tonnes of polymeric products, 42,000 tonnes of lube cut, 2,300 tonnes of linear alkylbenzene, 1,900 tonnes of bitumen, 500 tonnes of slops wax and 470 tonnes of granular sulfur.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 94,900 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 3,744 tonnes of styrene monomer and 2,500 tonnes of fine iron ore.

Moreover, the IME sold 14,890 tonnes of cement in matching trading system.

Last was the IME's side market which saw trade of 23,841 recyclable car accessories, 2,000 empty drums, 132 plastic barrel wastes, 250 tonnes of butadiene, 93 tonnes of steel scraps, 60 tonnes of cast iron scraps, 50 tonnes of iron tripetalous, 50 tonnes of aluminum scraps, 32 tonnes of copper pipes and 30 tonnes of wood wastes.
