Brooklyn resident arrested for Driving While Intoxicated near Cross Bay Boulevard

Queens, New York - On Thursday, November 9, 2023, troopers from SP Rockaways arrested Ali Rasol, age 39, of Brooklyn, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated - an unclassified misdemeanor.

The troopers were patrolling near the Cross Bay Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a 2014 Subaru Forester, operated by Rasol, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation revealed Rasol to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

Rasol was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and remanded to Queens County Central Booking pending arraignment.
