The City of Forsyth requests proposals and qualifications from artists for the design and implementation of a public art mural. This project is a joint project of Forsyth Main Street/DDA and the Convention and Visitors Bureau (owner). It is part of the ongoing revitalization of the City of Forsyth's downtown area. This project is funded in part by a Georgia Council for the Arts Vibrant Communities grant award.
Initial interest to be considered for the project must be conveyed by email or letter to Gilda Stanbery, Executive Director, Forsyth CVB, [email protected], no later than January 15, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.; and complete RFP/RFQ submitted no later January 30, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The winning finalist will be notified on or before February 19, 2017. The selected artist will begin work on the project no later than March 15, 2017. The installation of the City of Forsyth Mural shall be completed by May 29, 2017.
