Second Global Parliamentary Summit Against Hunger and Malnutrition to Be Held in 2023

On 30 November 2022, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) held a preliminary meeting within the preparation for the Second Global Parliamentary Summit against Hunger and Malnutrition to be held in 2023.

The meeting was aimed at raising awareness and developing a political dialogue on the role of MPs in promoting food security and nutrition.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova and Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology Natalia Amburtseva took part in the meeting via videoconferencing.
