On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Inspector Joseph Matys of the Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad will be joined by Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Mark Dapat, Co-Chair, Community Safety and Crime Prevention Committee of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, and James Morrison, Chair of the Ontario College of Pharmacists, to announce the successful implementation of time-delayed safes in community pharmacies and the impact on pharmacy robberies in Toronto and across Ontario.

The news conference will be broadcast via Dome Productions and will be live-streamed on YouTube. Media may participate in the news conference in-person and will require identification indicating they are a member of an accredited media outlet.
