Intertek Expands Services to Include Auditing to ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS)

Recognising the need for responsible management, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly released the ISO/IEC 42001 standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems in December 2023.

Pioneering as the world's first AI standard, ISO/IEC 42001 outlines requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an AIMS within an organisation. This framework is tailored for entities involved in delivering or utilising AI-based products or services, ensuring the responsible development and application of AI systems.
