The 2023 Netball World Cup 50 days count-down media briefing in Bloemfontein

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture under the guidance of Minister Zizi Kodwa in partnership with Netball South Africa invites members of the media to the 50 days count-down media briefing session as a build up towards the 2023 Netball World Cup. The briefing session will take place on Friday, 09 June 2023 at the Premier Splendid Inn Bloemfontein.

As this day marks exactly 50 days before the official opening ceremony of the 2023 Netball World Cup scheduled for 28 July - 06 August at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Minister Zizi Kodwa will provide state of readiness updates on the upcoming netball global showpiece. The briefing session also seeks to further galvanise the entire society to rally behind the Spar Proteas.

The #NWC2023 briefing session will be attended by the Deputy Minister Nocawe Mafu; and all provincial MECs for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation as this also forms part of the Ministerial and Members of the provincial Executive Councils (MINMEC) session.
