In collaboration with Lincoln and Hudson Rouge, Heavy Duty Projects has released the surprise hit song that consumers all over the internet have been clamoring for. Originally conceived as a short, earworm-inducing soundbite to accompany a 30-second commercial for the launch of the all-new Lincoln Nautilus, "Kaleidoscope Bliss (The Nautilus® Song)" is the result of an unexpected phenomenon.

The bespoke music shop knew it had made something special when Zach Pollakoff (Executive Creative Producer, Heavy Duty Projects) and Sebastian Adé (Music Producer, Heavy Duty Projects) first submitted their ad music. "This has gotta be the only spot I've ever worked on in which the client actually told us to turn the music up," said Pollakoff. What they didn't anticipate was that their brief soundtrack would lead to more than half a million views, hundreds of comments and email inquiries asking for a full-length version. Pollakoff and Adé went back to work, answered their new fans' demands, and dropped an accidental contender for song of the summer. Credited to Heavy Duty Projects, "Kaleidoscope Bliss (The Nautilus® Song)" is now available on YouTube and all music streaming platforms in its extended, 2.5-minute entirety: LISTEN

Co-founded by GRAMMY-winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Adele, HAIM, Vampire Weekend), with a roster of producers and songwriters who have collaborated with Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and more, Heavy Duty Projects is uniquely equipped to create commercial and custom music that is both cool and culturally-relevant, and can tap into a larger base of Gen Z consumers. As Variety says, "world-building and creating a sonic universe before and behind a moving image is what Heavy Duty Projects does best," with recent campaigns leading to 2024 AMP Award nominations for Most Effective Use of Music in a Campaign (Etsy, "Your Mission Campaign"), Best Original Song (CSAA Insurance Group, "Make It Right") and Best Artist + Brand Collaboration (CSAA Insurance Group, "Boys No More").

Heavy Duty's work consistently "pulls on consumer heartstrings" (The Hustle), and has helped to "revive the marketing jingle" (Marketing Brew), but "Kaleidoscope Bliss (The Nautilus® Song)" speaks to another new trend that has started to emerge. "Guitars are back," said Zach Pollakoff, in a recent interview with Digiday, "The trend cycle has spoken. A trap beat is no longer a quick way to signal that a brand is hip to youth culture. It requires much more nuance and research to understand to whom you are advertising and how to reach them."
