Project Description:
Remove timber bulkhead and replace with 102 linear feet (lf) of vinyl bulkhead, in place, 18 inches higher. Dredge the area noted on plan prepared by Jeffrey Patanjo last revised 1/18/2024 to -4 MLW yielding approximately 122 cy of spoil. Spoil will be trucked off-site to a DEC approved facility. Install a 4 lf x 20 lf fixed pier on the northern end of bulkhead. Add a boardwalk landward of the bulkhead. Establish a 10 lf wide non-turf buffer landward of the bulkhead. Project is located at 183 Shore Road, Southampton, SCTM# 900-76-2-22, Suffolk County along North Sea Harbor.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.
Coastal Management:
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)
It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.
