DAS Update 6/12

Thank you so much to everyone who has assisted in these last two weeks as we've adjusted to our new normal! Our kitten nursery is in full swing, our volunteer trainings are back in action, and every day we welcome adopters into the building to look for their new furry family member.

We could not have been so successful without all of you, and we're so grateful to everyone who tried out new roles, assisted with adoptions, and picked up extra shifts. Since we opened on May 26th, we've had 647, 455 of which have been in person at our Westmoreland location.

But we're just getting started! Over the summer, we'll be adding more positions, continuing to add extra shifts to existing roles, and holding new volunteer orientations four days a week. Our greatest needs continue to be Adoption Assistants, Greeters, and Kitten Nursery Helpers. Reach out if you have any questions about our newer positions!
