CTDOT is Developing Plans to Resurface the Pavement on Route 15 in Greenwich

The Connecticut Department of Transportation's (CTDOT) Office of Engineering is developing plans to resurface the pavement of Route 15 in Greenwich.

The purpose of the project is to preserve and maintain the existing wearing surface in a state of good repair. The project consists of surface treatment, crack sealing, patching, and placement of a mill and overlay resurfacing treatment and High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST.)

The present schedule indicates that the design will be completed in June 2024, with construction anticipated to start in spring 2025, assuming acceptance of the project, availability of funding, and receipt of any required environmental permits. This project will be undertaken with eighty percent (80%) Federal funds and twenty percent (20%) State funds.

It's important to CTDOT to ensure the public's feedback and thoughts are heard and included. If anyone has any questions or comments on this project, contact Mr. Scott Bushee, P.E., Transportation Principal Engineer, at (860) 594-2079 or by e-mail at [email protected]. Please refer to State Project No. 0056-0327.
