Spotlight on Excellence

Three G&Ts that provide power to distribution cooperatives in Illinois recently received Spotlight on Excellence awards from the Council of Rural Electric Communications (CREC). Dairyland Power Cooperative was named Gold Winner for Best Special Publication - Large (More than 8 pages) for its "Dairyland Excellence Model: A Guide to Understanding and Achieving Excellence." Wabash Valley Power Alliance was recognized twice - named both Gold Winner for Best Internal Engagement with "Celebrating 60 Years: Honoring the Past. Embracing the Future" and Silver Winner for Most Innovative Use of Digital Engagement for their WVPA Co-op Land Economic Development Podcast. Hoosier Energy was also named Silver Winner for Best External Event: their Centerton to Wilbur Open House.
