Trash Service Update August 11, 2022

The City of Carmi would like to provide an update regarding trash service in the City of Carmi.

Republic is still in the process of picking up totes. If you need Republic to pick up a remaining tote, please call Holly at 618-384-2001 or e-mail [email protected].

The City of Carmi believes that almost all customers have been delivered one Bulldog cart. (It's possible the cart may say Meridian.) If you have not received one cart from Bulldog, please call Holly at 618-384-2001 or e-mail [email protected].

At this time, all customers should only have one Bulldog cart. Customers wishing to have a second trash cart should call Bulldog directly at 877-285-3479. Bulldog will bill you directly for an additional cart. The City of Carmi only bills for one cart. Customers who have already called Bulldog for a second cart will see them delivered in the next few weeks.

The City of Carmi has been made aware that additional Bulldog carts may be at some residences. If more than one Bulldog cart is at a residence, this is in error, and Bulldog will be picking up those additional carts.

Finally, Bulldog will not pick up trash off the ground or out of private totes after all totes have been delivered. Bulldog will only pick-up trash in your Bulldog tote.
