Water Efficient Landscape at Customer Service Center

We're welcoming Spring with a redesigned water-efficient landscape at the August A. Caires Customer Service Center. This garden features a winding dry riverbed, which captures rainwater and helps to saturate the soil. Bright and beautiful plants were selected, including rock rose, yarrow, kangaroo paws and lavender.

The landscape enhances Padre Dam's existing Water Conservation Garden, built to demonstrate the attractiveness of water-efficient landscapes. Customers are invited to visit the garden, and may even find inspiration for their own water-efficient landscapes.
