5 Bad Bills Pushed Through The General Assembly

April 18, 2024

Just as expected, there has been numerous bad bills passed through the General Assembly, heavily favored by Democrats. On April 17th, 2024 a total of 71 bills passed the Illinois House of Representatives which included (65) Democrat bills and just (6) Republican bills. Democrats are committed to passing bad bills.

5 Bad Bills from Democrats

Defines "reproductive health decisions" to mean a person's decisions regarding the person's use of contraception; fertility or sterilization care; assisted reproductive technologies; miscarriage management care; healthcare related to the continuation or termination of pregnancy; or prenatal, intranatal, or postnatal care.

House Bill 4566: Amends the Business Corporation Act of 1983.

House Bill 5507: Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. (Gender Identity)

House Bill 5457: Amends the Clinical Social Work and Social Work Practice Act.

Provides that all examinations conducted or authorized by the Department must allow reasonable accommodations for applicants for whom English is not their primary language and a test in their primary language is not available.

These five bills are a small example of the mindset from Democrats. Republicans file legislation to improve the quality of life for Illinois residents and Democrats file legislation to accommodate peoples "feelings". We live in a world where everyone and everything is offensive and unfair. Democrats continue to push their false propaganda onto Illinois residents and it's a disgrace to democracy.
