President Aoun addressed the security situation, with Minister Sleem.

The President tackled Lebanese relations with KSA, Bahrain and Kuwait.

President Aoun: "Work is ongoing to address the situation which has arisen between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, and several Gulf states, based on Lebanese keenness to establish the best relations with brotherly Arab countries".

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, met National Defense Minister, Maurice Sleem, today at the Presidential Palace, and discussed with him the security situation and ministerial affairs, in addition to current political developments.

Ambassadors of Lebanon in KSA, Bahrain and Kuwait:

The President met Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fawzi Kabbara, Lebanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Milad Nammour, and Charge d'Affairs at the Lebanese Embassy in Kuwait, Ambassador Hadi Hashem.

President Aoun was briefed on developments related to Lebanese relations with the three countries, in light of latest developments and measures which these countries resorted to, after summoning their Ambassadors from Beirut and asking them to leave.

In addition, the three Ambassadors briefed President Aoun on the situation of the Lebanese community.

For his part, the President asserted that work is underway to tackled the situation which has arisen between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of Gulf States, "Based on Lebanon's keenness to establish the best relations with brotherly Arab countries, especially KSA and Gulf states".

Ambassador Yehya:

The President received Lebanese Ambassador to Japan, Nidal Yehya, and discussed with him relations between the two countries and ways to develop these relations, in multiple fields.
