The release of 600 personnel and 9 pieces of equipment of the airborne assault units was carried out by aircraft from Il-76MD military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces at night at altitudes from 600 to 1 thousand meters and took place under adverse weather conditions.

Coordination of the actions of the landing units in the air and at the Kislovo landing site near Pskov was carried out using modern navigation kits and night vision devices.

Before the landing of the troops, an aerial reconnaissance of the objects and positions of the mock enemy was carried out, after which the gunners and crews of the operational-tactical aviation aircraft inflicted a massive blow on them with various means of fire destruction.

After landing, the paratroopers seized the airfield of a mock enemy in order to ensure the landing of the main forces of the formation, and then made a march on standard equipment to the Strugi Krasnye training ground for a distance of about 100 kilometers, where they will have to work out raid and airborne assault actions to capture a favorable line, destroy newly identified enemy objects, conduct maneuver defence and hold a section of the state border.
