The City of Fort Lauderdale and Southern Underground Industries will be replacing an 8-inch water main butterfly valve on the corner of SE 1 Avenue and SE 2 Street.

Construction will begin on Monday, October 3, 2022, and is expected to be completed on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Traffic Impacts

• The eastbound lane of SE 2 Street from Andrews Avenue to SE 1 Avenue will be closed daily during work hours.
• Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct motorists within the open westbound lane.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution.
