Fundição de Évora é referência internacional para peças injetadas em alumínio

There are more than 130 workers who help Fundição de Évora, with almost 40 years of existence and ten years as an AIP associate, become one of the largest exporting companies in the Alentejo Region.

It produces injected aluminum parts for the most diverse sectors, such as lighting, agriculture, robotics, medicine and the automotive industry. Export values are around 94%, with the main importing countries being Spain, France and England.

The Évora Foundry was created in 1986 by the Schréder group, with the aim of supplying the various factories that that Belgian company has throughout the world.

In 2004, Schréder decided to sell two-thirds of its capital to Aluthea, a French industrial group created in 2001 and specializing in the design and production of aluminum parts. With this change, Fundição de Évora stopped producing exclusively for the Schréder group, thus diversifying not only its client portfolio but also the sectors of activity.

In 2016, EVT - Évora Toolings was created, a company dedicated to the construction of metal molds used in the Foundry, part of the Aluthea group and has 10 employees.

Two units that complement each other and make the Évora Foundry a national and international reference, with the future predicting new investments in the Alentejo capital.
