Rep. Severin Rallies for Gun Rights in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, IL….State Rep. Dave Severin (R-Benton) says he is proud to stand for 2nd Amendment Rights in Springfield. This week, Severin joined 2A supporters from across the state of Illinois for the annual IGOLD Rally sponsored by the Illinois State Rifle Association for a Capitol rally.

"I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and a law-abiding gun owner myself," Severin said. "I voted against the unconstitutional firearms and ammunition magazine ban, and I sponsored legislation that would repeal the FOID card requirement for Illinoisans. My voting record is 100% pro-2nd Amendment and always will be. I thank the Illinois State Rifle Association for bringing a HUGE group of supporters to the capitol to educate lawmakers and rally for our Second Amendment Rights!"
