Council Ward Boundaries Update: City Council to Review Proposed Criteria

Community Engagement

Your voices are important! Your input will guide the changes to the boundaries and will help people find out about city services, programs, and decision-making.

Community Survey Results

Together, the City of Hillsboro and Oregon's Kitchen Table hosted a variety of engagement activities, including:

  • two public forums
  • an online survey in four languages (Chinese, English, Spanish and Vietnamese)
  • community conversations
  • eight culturally specific and community festivals and events

About 620 people participated in the engagement activities. Based on the results of the public engagement process, recommendations have been developed for criteria to guide redrawing the City of Hillsboro's Council Ward Boundaries.

To learn more, we invite you to attend the City Council Work Session on Tuesday, August 16, at the Hillsboro Civic Center Room 113 B/C from 6 - 7 pm.

Selected members of the 2022 Civic Leadership Academy will explore the Council Ward Boundaries updates and share recommendations with City Council.
