Stretch Limousine Passenger Task Force to Meet

Chapter 3 of the Laws of 2020 establishes the Stretch Limousine Passenger Safety Task Force (Task Force) to conduct a comprehensive review of matters influencing the safety, adequacy, efficiency, and reliability of stretch limousine transportation of passengers for compensation. The first meeting of the Task Force, which will be held virtually, has been scheduled for February 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. The Task Force Joint Chairs, Transportation Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez and Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Mark J.F. Schroeder, will facilitate a discussion on Task Force member priorities for influencing stretch limousine safety; establish a process for conducting future meetings and the public hearing; and steps for developing recommendations to the Governor and Legislative Leaders.
