Kenya set to host the Joint 24th International Grassland and 11th International Rangeland Congress from October 25th to 29th October 2021.

Kenya will host the Joint 24th International Grassland and 11th International Rangeland Congress from October 25th to 29th October 2021. The theme of the Congress is 'Sustainable Use of Grassland and Rangeland Resources for Improved Livelihoods.' Speaking during a media breakfast meeting at KALRO Kabete, PS Livestock Mr Harry Kimtai said that the first-ever Congress to be hosted in Africa, will bring together a wide range of experts with vast research experience on range lands and grasslands.

The congress he said, will concertize recommendations on the uses of grassland and Range land resources to meet the increasing competing demands for Livestock, wildlife and commercial/industrial use in a tech world under a changing climate.

He urged both public and private organizations and individuals to join and participate by registering online before 30th September 2021.
