TDK Commercial Grade MEGACAP Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors at TTI

Fort Worth, Texas - June 28, 2022 - TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is stocking TDK's MEGACAP CKG Series Capacitor. The CKG Series is available as a single MLCC in sizes 1210,1812 and 2220 or as a stacked MLCC in sizes 1812 and 2220. TDK attaches a metal frame to the terminal electrodes of the MLCC which allows excellent resistance to mechanical stress and thermal shock due to the flexibility. The ability to stack the capacitors assists in the reduction of board space allowing for higher capacitance.

The CKG MLCC MEGACAP is offered in 16V to 1000V with these temperature characteristics: C0G, X5R, X7R, X7S and X7T (check the specification sheet for applicable capacitance per characteristic and voltage offerings). The TDK CKG Series is applicable for smoothing and decoupling applications requiring high capacitance.
