I-71 Cuyahoga County

Interstate 71, 90, and State Route 176 interchange improvements - Interchange improvement to I-71/SR 176 just south of I-90 by adding a third lane on I-90 east to SR 176/I-71 south and improving the ramp from Valentine Ave. and W.14th St. to SR 176 south in Cleveland. Estimated Completion: April 2024

• I-90 east/I-490 west to I-71 south/SR 176 southhas various shoulder closures and off-peak lane restrictions through April 2024 for interchange improvements.

Interstate 71 and Interstate 480 bridge painting- Paint six bridges on I-71 and I-480 in in Cleveland, Strongsville, and Brookpark. Estimated Completion: October 2024Buhrer Ave. Pedestrian Bridge over I-71 replacement- Replace the Buhrer Ave. pedestrian bridge over I-71. Estimated Completion: September 2024

• I-71 under Buhrer Ave. pedestrian bridge has various lane restrictions and shoulder closures through September 2024.

I-77 Cuyahoga County

Interstate 77 interchange improvements - Complete the south half of the I-77 and Miller Rd. interchange by adding new ramps and pavement widening on I-77 and Miller Rd. in Brecksville. Estimated Completion: November 2024

• Miller Rd. over I-77has various lane restrictions for bridge work through November 2024.
• I-77 between Miller Rd. and SR 21 has various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts for interchange improvements through November 2024.

• I-77 northbound between E.14^th St. and Woodland Ave.will have various lane restriction beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 28, through 3 a.m. Friday, March 29, for survey work.
• Woodland Ave.entrance ramp to I-77 north will be closedbeginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 28, through 3 a.m. Friday, March 29, for survey work.

I-90 Cuyahoga County

Interstate 90 bridge deck replacement ­- Bridge deck replacement on I-90 over Tuttle Creek, just east of Columbia Rd., in Westlake. Estimated Completion: July 2024

NEW IMPACTS

• I-90 westbound exit to Columbia Rd. will be closed between 10 p.m. Thursday, March 28, and 12 a.m. Friday, March 29 for pavement striping.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

• I-90 over Tuttle Creek, just east of Columbia Rd., has various off-peak lane restrictions and lane shifts through July 2024, for bridge deck replacement.

Interstate 480 Cuyahoga County

Interstate 480 resurfacing - Resurface I-480 between W.139^th St. and Idlewood Dr. in Cleveland and Brooklyn. Estimated Completion : September 2024

NEW IMPACTS

• I-480 between W.139^th St. and Idlewood Dr.will have various off peak lane restrictions for resurfacing beginning on Monday, April 1, through September 2024.

I-480 Barrier Wall and Drainage Improvements- Replace the barrier wall and various drainage improvements on I-480 between just east of Brookpark Rd. and Broadview Rd. in Cleveland. Estimated Completion : October 2024

NEW IMPACTS

• I-480 between just east of Brookpark Rd. and Broadview Rd. will have various lane restrictions beginning on Monday, April 1, through October for barrier wall and drainage improvements.

Interstate 480 Interchange Improvements - Make various interchange improvements on I-480 at SR 237, I-71, and Grayton Rd. in Cleveland. Estimated Completion: July 2024

• I-480 eastbound and westbound between I-71 and SR 237 has various lane restrictions and traffic shifts through fall 2023 for interchange improvements.

Interstate 480 over Lee Rd. Bridge Deck Replacement - Replace the bridge deck on I-480 over Lee Rd. in Cleveland and Maple Heights. Estimated Completion: Spring 2025

• I-480 westbound over Lee Rd.is in a bi-directional traffic pattern through late November 2024 for bridge deck replacement. All lanes of traffic are maintained. However, two lanes of westbound traffic are maintained on the I-480 eastbound side separated by a concrete barrier wall. Two lanes of traffic are on the existing westbound side.
• I-480 eastbound over Lee Rd. All lanes of traffic are shifted to the right through late November 2024 for bridge deck replacement.
• I-480 over Lee Rd. has various lanes restrictions closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Fall 2024 for bridge deck repairs.

Interstate 480 Valley View Bridge Deck Replacement - Construct a new bridge between the two existing Valley View bridges and replace the decks of the I-480 east and westbound Valley View bridges in Garfield Heights and Independence. • I-480 between Transportation Blvd. and I-77 will have various lane restrictions through June 2024 for bridge work.

Interstate 480 drainage repairs - I-480 just east of the Lorain County line has various shoulder closures, through August 2024 for drainage repairs. Estimated Completion: August 2024

Interstate 490 Cuyahoga County

Interstate 490/State Route 10/Opportunity Corridor Section 3- Construction a new roadway between E. 55^th St./I-490 and E. 93^rd St. in the city of Cleveland. Visit www.opportunitycorridor.transportation.ohio.gov for more information and detours. Estimated Completion: June 2024

• Opportunity Corridor Blvd. between I-490 and E. 93rd. St.will have various daily lane restrictions through June 2024.
• Short term lane and road closures on various side streets will also be necessary.

U.S. and State Route Projects

Cuyahoga County

State Route 10 (Lorain Ave.) and State Route 8 (Northfield Rd.) bridge repairs - Various bridge repairs on SR 10 (Lorain Ave.) over the Rocky River and SR 8 (Northfield Rd.) over the Metro Parks in Cleveland, Bedford, Fairview Park. Estimated Completion: June 2025

• SR 8 (Northfield Rd.) over the Metro Parks in Bedfordis reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction, shifted onto the existing southbound side of the bridge, through November 2024 for bridge repairs.
• SR 10 (Lorain Ave.) over the Rocky River is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction, shifted onto the existing westbound side of the bridge, through November 2024 for bridge repairs.

State Route 14 (Broadway Ave.) - NEW IMPACTS SR 14 (Broadway Ave.) between Forbes Rd. and Rockside Rd. in Bedford has various daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. Estimated Completion: late May 2024State Route 17 (Brookpark Rd.) resurfacing - Resurface SR 17 (Brookpark Rd.) between W. 130^th St. and I-480 ramps in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, Cleveland, and Parma. Estimated Completion: August 2024State Route 17 (Granger Rd.) pavement replacement - Replace pavement on SR 17 (Granger Rd.) between the I-480 eastbound entrance ramp and the I-480 westbound exit ramp in the village of Brooklyn Heights. Estimated Completion: May 2024

• SR 17 (Granger Rd.) between the I-480 eastbound entrance ramp and the I-480 westbound exit ramphas various daily lane closures through May 2024.
• SR 17 (Granger Rd.) westbound ramp to I-480 eastbound is closed until further notice.

State Route 43 bridge replacement - Replace the SR 43 (Aurora Rd.) bridge just east of SR 175 over Tinkers Creek in the Solon. Estimated Completion: Spring 2024

• SR 43 just east of SR 175 over Tinkers Creekhas various lane restrictions and traffic pattern shifts through Spring 2024 for bridge replacement.

State Route 237 resurfacing- Resurface SR 237 between Baker St. and Bagley Rd. in Berea. Estimated Completion: October 2024

NEW IMPACTS

• SR 237 between Bake St. and Bagley Rd.will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning on Monday, April 1, through October for resurfacing.

Cedar Rd. and Richmond Rd. intersection improvements - The intersection of Cedar Rd. and Richmond Rd. in the cities of Lyndhurst and Beachwood has various lane restrictions for intersection improvements, through May 2024. Estimated Completion: May 2024 Antenucci Blvd. resurfacing - Resurface Antenucci Blvd. between Transportation Blvd. and Turney Rd. Estimated Completion: September 2024

• Conte Dr. at Carol Jean Blvd. will be closed on Tuesday, April 9, through late April for resurfacing.

E. 140^th St. resurfacing - Resurface E. 140^th St. between St. Clair Ave. and SR 284 (Lakeshore Blvd.) in Cleveland. Estimated Completion October 2024E. 185^th St. rehabilitation and streetscape improvements - Pavement rehabilitation and streetscape improvements to E. 185^th St. between Lake Erie and Pawnee Ave. Estimated Completion: June 2024

W. Franklin Blvd. resurfacing and roundabout construction- Resurfacing and roundabout construction at eight intersections on W. Franklin Blvd. between W. 85^th St. and W. 25^th St. in Cleveland. Estimated Completion: April 2024

• W. Franklin Blvd. between W. 25^th St. to W. 85^th St. has various lane restrictions through April 2024 for roundabout construction.

• I-480 eastbound and westbound between Rocky River Dr. and just east of W.150^th St.has various off peak lane restrictions for overhead bridge repairs through mid-April.

• SR 252 (Great Northern Blvd.) over I-480 has various lane restrictions through June 2024 for bridge repairs.
• I-271 northbound local lanes under Chagrin Blvd.will be reduced to three lanes beginning on through February for bridge repairs.
• Chagrin Blvd. over I-271has various lane restrictions through February 2024 for bridge repairs.
• W.117th St. over I-90 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge repairs through late June 2024.
