Radio engineering troops of the Southern Military District will detect targets at Air Frontiers competition

In units of radio engineering troops of the Air Force and Air Defence Army of the Southern Military District (SMD), the qualifying stage of the field training competition for combat crews Air Frontiers of the International Army Games 2022 has started.

The crews of the radar stations will have to make a march on equipment, overcoming contaminated areas of the terrain, fulfill the standards for the deployment of mobile radar stations and detect air targets of the mock enemy.

The servicemen will also pass through a smoke screen and repel an attack by sabotage groups of a mock enemy, perform firing from standard weapons, and pass standards for technical, special and physical training.

About 250 servicemen of the radio engineering troops of the Southern Military District take part in the competition, more than 30 units of special equipment are involved.
