NOAA Fisheries to discuss East Coast whale strandings

On Wednesday, January 18, NOAA Fisheries experts will be available to discuss recent strandings of humpbacks and other whales along the East Coast, including in New York and New Jersey.

NOAA's marine mammal experts will provide the latest information about the strandings, ongoing unusual mortality events, and talk about next steps. Experts from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management will also be available for questions about offshore wind energy.
