Culinary Culture Week of Suzhou kicks off in Singapore

The opening ceremony of the Culinary Culture Week of Suzhou, one of the series events of the "Meet Suzhou in Singapore" Culture Week, was held at Shangri-La Singapore.

The guests attending the opening ceremony could not only taste Suzhou delicacies, but also watch live demonstrations of intangible cultural heritages of Suzhou and performances of Kunqu opera, Suzhou Pingtan and ballet.

The "Meet Suzhou in Singapore" Culture Week is scheduled to take place in Singapore from April 10 to 16, offering a rich variety of cultural activities such as cultural and tourism promotional events and performances of Swan Lake by Suzhou Ballet Theatre and the youth edition of The Peony Pavilion by Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theater.
