Joint Efforts of the Italian Bilateral Military Mission in Lebanon (MIBIL) and UNESCO Beirut: A Visit to the Green Demonstration Room

The purpose of the visit was to explore the various units available in the Green Demonstration Room, which includes a Physics Laboratory, Music Workshop, Arts Workshop, and the Green House.

The Green Demonstration Room initiative was supported by UNESCO in 2023 and is welcoming more school visits in 2024. This initiative aims to educate the younger generation about the importance of environmental conservation and the role they can play in mitigating the effects of climate change.

The delegation was keen on identifying common synergies between UNESCO and the Italian delegation to support the Green Demonstration Room.
