​Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park continues virtually, tonight

The City's 27th annual Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, is back tonight! The second concert in the series continues with Face 2 Face - Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John. The concert will be streamed online starting at 7:30 p.m. at vaughan.ca/concerts.

This year's talent lineup features professional entertainment for all ages with genres like disco, pop, oldies, reggae and rock. The schedule is below:

• Wednesday, June 23: Face 2 Face - Tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John
• Wednesday, July 7: Exodus - Tribute to Bob Marley
• Wednesday, July 14: Disco Fever
• Wednesday, July 21: Shania Twin - Tribute to Shania Twain
• Wednesday, July 28: Jersey Seasons - Tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons

Holding Concerts in the Park virtually allows Vaughan residents to mark this popular and much-anticipated event safely from the comfort of their homes.

The 2020 virtual Concerts in the Park Series received an Achievement Award from Festival and Events Ontario.

Events like this contribute to the City's commitment to creating and sustaining active, safe and diverse communities, which is a priority in the Council-approved 2018-2022 Term of Council Service Excellence Strategic Plan.
