Education Club to hold read-alouds during book fair

The Education Club at The Ohio State University at Lima will celebrate National Reading Day with two read-alouds and a book fair on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, in the Perry Webb Student Life Center.

Kari Spencer, a librarian from Ada, will do read-alouds and crafts appropriate for 1-5 year olds from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Ohio State Lima education student Nicole Pohlman will read her book "The Little Fly Who Couldn't Fly" from 4:30-5:00 p.m. Pohlman's book is aimed at preK-5 grades. Coloring pages will be available after the read-alouds.

The Education Club's annual Scholastic Book Fair will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., through Friday, April 5, in the HCF Conference Room 106 in the Webb. Visitors can buy books both for their own libraries or as a donation to a local school. The Education Club will also use a portion of the proceeds of the sale to buy books for local schools.

Books can also be ordered online at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/ohiostateuniversityatlima.
