APRHAI provides practical and scientific advice to government departments in support of the fulfilment of its vision for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in 2040. As a member of APRHAI you will work as part of a sub-group to provide expert advice on infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance within a clinical setting and you will also operate within the committee's remit and adhere to the Seven Principles of Public Life as they apply to the service on APRHAI.

Candidates applying should have an interest in antimicrobial resistance and healthcare-associated infection along with a strong commitment to improving the quality and safety of healthcare. In addition, you must have an outstanding record of achievement with excellent communication skills, while having practical experience of implementing interventions to improve the quality and safety of healthcare and clinical expertise within the field of infectious diseases.
