TAV's five airports to receive awards in Frankfurt

The airports operated by TAV Airports - Almaty, Batumi, Madinah, Milas-Bodrum, and Tbilisi - were among the best in the World Airport Awards 2024, organized by Skytrax and determined by passenger choices.

TAV Airports, a member of Groupe ADP, had five airports included in this year's Skytrax Awards. The awards were announced at the Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE), which was held in Frankfurt and brought together more than thousand industry representatives from 120 countries.

Madinah Airport climbed two spots from last year to be among the world's top 50 airports. Ranked first in the "Best Regional Airports in the Middle East" category, Madinah also placed in the top 10 in the categories of "Best Airports in the Middle East", "Best Airport Staff in the Middle East", and "Best Airports 2024: less than 5 million passengers". Almaty was recognized as the second-best regional airport in Central Asia, while also ranking in the top five in the categories of "Best Airport Staff in Central Asia / CIS" and "Best Airports in Central Asia / CIS". Tbilisi and Batumi airports secured spots in the top 10 in the "Best Airports in Eastern Europe" category. Tbilisi Airport was also ranked among the best in its category based on passenger numbers. Milas-Bodrum Airport was named one of the "Most Improved" airports, making it into the top 10 in this category.

Skytrax World Airport Awards are determined by a global airport customer satisfaction survey. Evaluating customer services and facilities at more than 570 airports, these awards are considered the benchmark for excellence in airports worldwide.
