Buckets N Boards Comedy Percussion Show coming to Birmingham on May 5

The hilarious, high-energy Buckets N Boards Comedy Percussion Show is coming to the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center on Sunday, May 5.

Musicians and comedians Matt Levingston and Gareth Sever bring a joyous charm to this fresh and unique, clean comedy production, born from their shared passion for music and rhythm. The sheer variety of instruments and found objects they can manipulate is inspiring. The comedy, centered on improvisational interactions with the crowd, is the driving force of the show.

With imaginative songs, amazing percussion, spectacular tap dancing, crisp beatboxing and more, Buckets N Boards has crafted an original theatrical experience the entire family will enjoy.

Buckets N Boards has performed 13 critically acclaimed summer seasons in Branson, Missouri, has performed with the Kansas City Symphony and is currently one of the most requested headline acts on Disney Cruise Lines, according to their bio.

Doors open at 2 p.m., and show time is 3 p.m. Enjoy music and rhythm activities with ArtPlay Community Education before the performance. Food trucks will be on-site.
