Mikhail Rusy Appointed Coordinator of IPA CIS Observer Group at Presidential Elections in Russia

By the order of Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, Chair of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Mikhail Rusy was appointed coordinator of the IPA CIS International Observers group at the presidential elections in Russia.

At the moment, the observers team is being formed from representatives of parliaments of IPA CIS Member Nations, the IPA CIS officials and experts of the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations(IPA CIS IIMDD).

The IPA CIS International Observers will take part in election monitoring at the invitation of Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.

The presidental elections in Russia will be held on 15-17 March 2024.
