Anthem Profits Up, But is it Sustainable?

Anthem has added 1.4 million new members in its first quarter alone, mostly due to Medicaid and Medicare membership growth. However, the big question is whether the Medicaid membership, which is growing due to the pandemic, and states not requiring recertification at this time, will hold once states reinstitute the recertification process.
