Public Hearing on 2024-2027 TIP Amendments

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Monday April 15, 2024 at 10:00am regarding proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan 2024-2027 TIP. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the Bismarck-Mandan MPO Technical Advisory Committee in the Tom Baker Meeting Room of the City/County Building at 221 N 5th St Bismarck, ND.

The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendments to the 2024-2027 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendments add a new rail crossing project in Bismarck and increase the costs for a Mandan school crossing project. Following the consideration period of citizen's comments, the proposed amendments will be adopted, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments.

The public is invited to attend the public hearing, or submit written comments directed to Stephen Larson of the MPO no later than 9am Monday, April 15, 2024 to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, ND, 58506. Comments may also be e-mailed or faxed to (701) 222-6450. Comments should be identified as public input on the proposed amendments.
