Woman Arrested in Downtown Seattle for Slashing Man with Knife

Seattle Police responded to a 911 call reporting that a male was slashed in his face by a woman armed with a knife, Monday afternoon.

At approximately 11:10 a.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of 3rd Avenue and located a 64-year-old male with a severe laceration to his left cheek.

Police determined that the victim was inside of his residence when an adult female entered unlawfully and assaulted him. The suspect fled the area before police arrived.

The victim was treated by the Seattle Fire Department on scene. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

The 34-year-old suspect was located a short distance away. She was arrested for Burglary in the 1st Degree. Officers seized the weapon as evidence. She was booked into King County Jail.

Detectives in the General Investigations Unit will be assigned to this case.
