INDEXO has earned 215 million euros for its clients over the past six years

The pension management company IPAS Indexo (hereinafter - INDEXO) pension savers in 2nd and 3rd pension pillars have collectively earned 215 million euros in various pension plans over the past six years until March 31 of this year. The mentioned amount is calculated after management commissions and supplements the future savings of pension investors.

"The 215 million earned by INDEXO and the results of Latvian pension plans visible on manapensija.lv are a vivid testament to the fact that direct investments in 100% stock index funds provide the best long-term returns. There will always be fluctuations in the financial market, but in the long term, diversified and so-called passively managed funds provide the best results, as they reflect the growth of the world economy, meaning, investors in Latvia earn from the gradual growth of, for example, the US and Eurozone economies," says Artūrs Roze, INDEXO Asset manager.

"We see that the INDEXO 2nd pillar pension investment plan "INDEXO Jauda 16 - 50" has deservedly become the largest pension plan in the category of plans where 100% of investments are made in stocks. The value of one euro, if it has been invested in the "INDEXO Jauda 16-50" pension plan on the day of its introduction on February 5, 2018, has grown to 1.74 euros, but if one euro in this pension plan has been invested, for example, on January 1, 2020, then its value today is already 1.47 euros, but it should be emphasized that historical profitability does not guarantee equivalent results in the future," continues A. Roze.

As previously reported, in addition to pension management operations, since mid-2022, INDEXO has been developing the project for the establishment of a new bank, and the Bank of Latvia is currently reviewing its licensing application. Throughout 2023 work has been completed on a secure and modern banking IT infrastructure. INDEXO Bank's mobile application has been developed with all necessary integrations for an impeccable customer experience. Additionally, fundamental products for individuals have been created, including current accounts, payments and cards, savings accounts and deposits, loans and, of course, convenient administration for third-pillar pensions. Upon receiving the license, INDEXO Bank will commence its operations serving individuals, while services for businesses will be developed in 2024.
