Vet Center/CBOC bill introduced

Veterans in the Marianas would have their own Vet Center and a Community Based Outpatient Clinic run by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs under the Vet CENTERS for Mental Health Act (H.R. 733) that Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) and I re-introduced. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling and mental health services for veterans, active duty servicemembers, and their families. At CBOCs, veterans can receive primary and specialty health care from dedicated full-time staff. Having both a Vet Center and a VA CBOC in the Marianas would ensure that our veterans can receive routine care on island. I look forward to working with Rep. Sherrill to advance this bipartisan bill through Congress.
