CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Jan. 19, 2024) - Charlotte County Community Services has postponed REC2U Party in the Park from Sat. Jan 20 to Sat. Feb. 17 due to cold weather.will host a REC2U "Party in the Park" on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 3 - 7 p.m. at William R Gaines Jr Veterans Memorial Park, 20499 Edgewater Dr., Port Charlotte. "Grab your family and friends and leave the phones at home. Join our recreation team for a fun time. Come join us for family friendly games, music, food and end the night with a family movie. Bring your favorite blanket or chairs,"Recreation Supervisor Leah Williams said. The community is invited to attend and enjoy party games, relay races, crafts, and a movie. This is a free event.
