The joint press conference of the prime ministers of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania starts at noon

Estonia holds the chairmanship of the Baltic Cooperation in 2023. During the first meeting of the year, Kaja Kallas, Krišjānis Kariņš, and Ingrida Šimonytė will focus on long-term assistance to Ukraine, preparations for the NATO Summit in Vilnius this July, and energy security. They will discuss joint infrastructure projects, including the current status of the construction of Rail Baltica, and other areas of cooperation in the European Union.

The three priorities of Estonia during its chairmanship are supporting Ukraine, regional security and defence, and energy security and security of supply.
