Clifton resident named to head Kearny Bank Rutherford branch
Clifton resident Jose Gil has been appointed to oversee Kearny Bank's Rutherford branch. As Assistant Vice President / Retail Relationship Manager, Gil is charged with developing new business, with emphasis on further strengthening the location's consumer and commercial relationships.
Most recently Assistant Vice President / Market Manager for Valley Bank's Rochelle Park and Milford locations, Gil has 14 years of banking industry experience, including a management position with Oritani Bank. He holds an associate degree in criminal justice.
'Jose comes to Kearny Bank with a strong background in branch-level management, and is extremely familiar with southern Bergen County,' explains Heather Moskal, Kearny Bank Senior Vice President / Retail Banking Leader. 'He lives just a few miles from our Rutherford location and has managed another bank in the vicinity, so he understands the area's nuances and the specifics of its business environment.'
Gil's community involvement has included supporting Habit for Humanity and the YMCA, as well as providing expert financial literacy instruction through the Boys & Girls Club.
