IVU.data: smart decisions thanks to good data

Berlin, 24 August 2023 | Ensuring optimal charging scenarios, efficient trip planning and self-learning operational scheduling, the new IVU.data platform from IVU Traffic Technologies collects and curates operational data and enables transport companies to perform comprehensive analyses and evaluations.

IVU.data is the new digital service as part of IVU.suite. IVU.data collects all operational data relevant to transport companies in one place and prepares it for evaluation in analytical tools. This enables IVU.suite products to learn automatically from the data gathered, allowing for automated forecasts and suggested optimisations for planning, dispatch and the control centre to be created in the future.

Evaluating the operational data collected will improve the operational processes of transport companies and further optimise the use of resources, partly with the help of artificial intelligence. For example, the energy consumption and charging management of electric buses can be predicted more precisely so that the timetable can then be optimised based on real-life operational patterns. With the help of IVU.data, relevant data such as passenger boarding and alighting times, traffic jams and roadworks are incorporated directly into scheduling - as are weather conditions and route topology for electric vehicles.
